Paris France Temple

Bon jour! I’ve come to Europe to visit three temples: Paris France, Bern Switzerland, and Frankfurt Germany. If I get out of here hitting two out of three, I’ll feel good 👍.
Contrary to my normal approach, I brought a friend with me. She’s a young lady I met 2 1/2 weeks ago during a Good Samaritan encounter. Since then, we’ve seen each other almost every day! But that’s another story!
Yesterday was maddening! After taking the train from DC to Newark, we hit Times Square for some food. Hello Canes!

Fabulous chicken strips and sauce!
From there, a cab back to Madison Square Garden where we caught the Long Island Railroad to J. F. K. airport. At 12:15 AM, we took off for France on Norse Airlines! $183 nonstop to Paris! The 787 flies at 600 mph with an outside temperature of -74 degrees!
When we landed, all you-know-what broke loose…
I rent work trucks from Enterprise Truck Rental. I carefully put THOUSANDS of dollars of credit card payments into the local ATM to assure I had about $2,000 of credit available for the trip. Confidently, I flew to Paris…
When I arrived, I had ZERO credit available! It was HELL finding a European charger for my phone at the airport. I was embarrassed beyond measure to have someone with me. I missed my 4 pm temple appointment at Paris. I convinced Paypal to release $740 of funds they were holding so we had money to work with. Once resolved, we headed to the Eiffel Tower! On the way, we passed the Arch de Triumph!

We stayed at the H4 Wyndham Hotel using points from my Wyndham account. Stayed on the 36th floor!

The view was simply stunning…

So…I’m still alive! Wired $ from my brokerage account into my bank account last night to make sure we were covered…
3.6 km from the temple, where I’m looking forward to finding some peace 🙏
I found it! The peace. I was the only one in the celestial room, even no temple workers! It felt like it was just me and the Lord together in Paris, France! It brought a tear to my eye! I saw no other patrons in the temple either.
A wonderful man named Lionel Destribois was one of the initiatory workers. I did five names—one from England, one from China, one from Brazil, one from Germany, and one was unknown. It illustrates the global impact of temple work. 🙏 Lionel said his part of the ordinances in English, just for me! It was a very nice touch!
The precision, accuracy, and teamwork displayed by these wonderful initiatory workers, perfectly symbolized the effectiveness and union of the French! They were fabulous!
I neglected to mention my efforts to go out last night at 10 o’clock and get some food for us. I wandered into a small French restaurant and was treated like royalty. I was the only customer there. The meal consisted of a rice dish, large baked chicken, sausage links, and a delicious potato soup called couscous. The owner of the restaurant treated me like royalty. I took it back to the hotel room and ate most of half of it!

I did not have time to visit the visitors’ center. In a rush to get back to the hotel to get to the train station to head to Switzerland!
What a joy to serve in the House of the Lord in Paris, France! 🇫🇷 ❤️🙏
