Twin Falls Idaho Temple
May 31, 2018
When I got up this morning I wondered whether I should knock on my mother and stepfather’s hotel room door to wake them up. I decided not to and when I walked in for the free breakfast there they were already!
We started our day this morning doing sealings in the Twin Falls Idaho Temple. It was about a 120 mile drive from Boise approximately.
I’m always amazed at how friendly and anxious the temple workers are to help us accomplish our goals. Regardless of which temple you go to, they are always courteous and kind and ready to help.
After the temple work was done we drove 4 miles to Shoshone Falls, a beautiful scenic spot which the locals refer to as their own “Niagara Falls.” It was breathtaking to see.
From there we drove about 15 minutes to Murtaugh, Idaho, a small town of about 110 people. When my mom was on a mission in London, England, they had a tall good-looking kid from Murtaugh Idaho that was a missionary there. She’s always wanted to visit Murtaugh! It was a highlight of the day for her.
From there we drove about 100 miles to the Idaho Falls Temple. It’s great being able to drive in a state that has an 80 mile an hour speed limit!
The Twin Falls Idaho Temple is my 11th temple visited this year and my 34th temple since starting Mormon Temple Trek in January of 2017.
