Boise Idaho Temple
May 30, 2018
We were able to attend the Boise Idaho Temple tonight. We dashed over there after coming out of the Meridian Idaho temple and after driving approximately 400 miles this morning to make it to these two wonderful places.
We did the same thing in the Boise Temple that we did in the Meridian Temple: we did sealings that my mother had submitted herself. The temples are only 10 miles apart and I was anxious to make it to the second one on the first night of our trip. It worked!
The temple workers were fabulous as they allowed us to join in with some others doing sealings already. We then spent some time in the celestial room and loved the beautiful, large stained glass at the top of the room.
I found out afterwards in the parking lot that one of the ordinance workers had Ted Johnson, my mission president, as his home teacher once Ted got back from his mission in 1979. I think everyone in the Boise area knows Ted Johnson.
This is my 10th temple this year and my 33rd since January 1 of 2017.
