Indianapolis Indiana Temple

It’s 174 miles from the Columbus Ohio Temple to the Indianapolis Indiana Temple. And the most fascinating part of the roads that you drive on are  within a block of the Indianapolis Temple.

They have some roundabouts there, I think a series of three of them in a row, that make you feel like you’re driving in the Indy 500. It’s very cool!

I arrived at the temple and stake center parking lot at about 2:30. The first session started at 6 PM. So I took a nap for a couple of hours then went in the temple around 5:15.

Those wonderful temple workers will do whatever they can to accommodate your schedule. I’ve seen it happen over and over again. The workers were really nice and got me into some initiatory’s at about 5:45. After two initiatories I was done, spent a few minutes in the beautiful celestial room, then went out and had my photo taken.

Now it’s off to Louisville, Kentucky where I’ll hopefully get some work done tonight before they’re closed.   Pray for me!
