Logan Utah Temple
November 24, 2017
The Logan Utah Temple was one of the earliest temples dedicated by the Church back in the late 1800’s. It’s beautiful stone and mortar construction is fascinating.
It can also be spotted easily as you come into the Logan Valley because of its dual illuminated steeples. I got there just in time for the 6:30 PM session.
The women outnumbered the men in the session by about 3 to 1. We only had four guys there. On the bright side, there was plenty of room to sit and relax.
This temple has some amazing angelic-type stories attached to it. Look for some of these as you walk throughout the hallways.
Noted Danish painter Carl Blach painted a number of scenes from Christ’s life back in the 1800s. They are a perfect addition to the spirit of a temple.
After leaving this temple it was a 150-mile drive back to Spanish Fork. I didn’t mind it at all! This is my 20th temple visited this year. I only have four more to go and about five weeks to do it! I’m excited!
