Tucson Arizona Temple
Have done five initiatory names in the Gila Valley Arizona Temple, I made a mad dash 140 miles to the Tucson Arizona Temple. My goal was to make the 7:30 session. I drove 85 miles an hour along Interstate 10 and arrived at the temple at 7:25, only to be told that the last endowment session had started at 7 PM! No problem I thought, what’s another five initiatories?
On my way I tried to catch a shot of the beautiful Tucson mountains in the west silhouetted by the sunset.
The Tucson Arizona Temple is beautifu! It has a teal-colored dome at the top and that same color highlights the inside.
Another thing that caught my eye was the Morgan Stanley investment brokerage office about 100 yards away from the temple. Now THAT would be a great place to work with the gorgeous view of the temple and the Tucson Valley below!
I love this photo of me outside the temple. It turns out he had moved from Ohio to Washington DC back in 1992, then later moved to Tucson. He said he really likes Tucson!
After leaving the temple I drove 105 miles back to the Phoenix airport. I had put 605 miles on the rental car, visited three temples, and had done 12 initiatory names. The rental car only cost $48!
In conclusion, this is my 54th temple visit since January 2017, and my sixth and final temple in the state of Arizona.
